Excellent service, unheard of pricing

I did my homework with respect to my boiler purchase. Initially I was settling in on the Central Boiler product, but I had a difficult time reconciling the price. For my application of needing to heat approximately 7000 square feet, that unit would have cost me in the mid $9,000 range. They insisted I use “factory recommended” parts such as the heat exchangers, Pex and so forth. Their pricing on that, too, was over double the prices I was finding locally and on line. It finally dawned on me that the high cost was necessary to support a multi level marketing scheme and large factory and warehousing costs.

Continuing my research I stumbled across a site that actually broke down the various offerings and it was there that I noticed that the EZ boiler had thicker metal in some critical areas than the higher priced units. When I first noted the EZ boiler price, I thought it was a misprint, happily, I was wrong. All of that prompted a call to Tim, the owner, deliverer, trouble shooter, warranty, phone, office and CEO guy. Please note that when you call you are not talking to a sales guy or clerk, but the actual owner of the operation.

Tim struck me as a straight forward and honest guy, so I took the next step. He asked me to measure both of my air handlers in my two zone house and with that quoted me a price. That ptice including the PEX, heat exchangers, pumps, and two garage heaters was $2,800 less than just the Central boiler outside unit, and an astounding $6,000 less than the CB price quote for the boiler, and their hardware.

With that, I decided to commit. I called Tim and placed my order. He did not ask me for any money at all. He explained that he would build the unit and deliver it and if I approved of it at that point, I could pay for it! The amazing thing is that the very next day, not even 24 hours later a freight truck showed up and unloaded all the PEX, and heat exchangers, pumps and air handlers. Again, please note that I had not paid him a penny at that point.

A couple weeks later Tim called me to arrange for the delivery. He showed up within an hour of when he said he would and off-loaded my new boiler. He then spent some time with me chatting about the thing and answering my myriad of questions. He is a caring and thorough guy who definitely put me ahead of his need to drive across two states to deliver another unit after leaving my home. He didn’t leave until I was satisfied I knew enough to tackle the installation. I actually paid him a little more than he quoted me because he was so kind, helpful, and caring.

So for ten days I have been tackling the installation, a couple of hours a day and am nearly finished. I would recommend installing the unit and parts yourself so you know first hand exactly how everything fits together. I am eagerly awaiting my finish day and starting to heat our home. Our electric bills had hit a crisis point last year that I feel is unsustainable, and with us owning a lot of wooded acreage, our heat is practically free for now on

Thank you Tim, and your wife for doing and delivering on what you said you would
